In Between It All

ARTSCO is proud to present In Between It All, a digital moving-image installation by Kailee Fawcett, presented on the KCT Urban Screens in downtown Kelowna. The exhibition will run for two weeks, transforming the screens into a site for reflection, pause, and quiet recognition.

In Between It All explores emotional fragmentation and the tension between control and collapse—those moments where past, present, and future overlap without resolution. Originally conceived as an immersive installation using two-way mirrors, this screen-based iteration translates the work into a public context, externalizing interior states through layered animation, texture, and digital distortion.

All characters and visual elements in the work are hand-drawn digitally in Illustrator, textured in Photoshop, and animated and puppeted in After Effects. This layered, material-driven process is integral to the piece itself: precise forms are constructed and then gradually disrupted, reflecting the instability and nonlinear nature of internal struggle. Images fracture, dissolve, and reassemble, resisting a fixed narrative in favour of emotional resonance. The work offers no clear resolution, instead holding space for uncertainty, vulnerability, and the in-between.

The installation will play daily starting at 5:00 PM on the Urban Screens. Free and publicly accessible from outside the Kelowna Community Theatre, the Urban Screens invite viewers to encounter the work while moving through downtown Kelowna—no tickets or entry required.
