Celebrating the Return

ARTSCO is proud to present the return of Celebrating the Return — a sound and Gobo light installation that honours the annual return of the Salmon to the Okanagan. This immersive exhibition reflects the deep cultural, ecological, and spiritual significance of salmon restoration and the ongoing efforts to revive Okanagan habitats, riparian systems, and biodiversity.

Displayed along the Kelowna Art Walk, Celebrating the Return invites audiences to pause and reflect on the enduring relationship between people, salmon, and the waterways that sustain life in the region.

You can experience Celebrating the Return each evening starting at 6 PM along the Kelowna Art Walk, as part of Light Up Kelowna, a collaborative initiative by ARTSCO and the UBCO Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies with support from the City of Kelowna.
