Light Up Kelowna
EXHIBITIONS
Light Up Kelowna is an initiative in collaboration with the Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies (FCCS) at UBC Okanagan, and the Arts Council of the Central Okanagan (ARTSCO), with the support of the City of Kelowna. Dr. Miles Thorogood, Dr. Aleksandra Dulic and Dr. Yujie Gao, professors in FCCS, worked with Kirsteen McCulloch at ARTSCO to design the site-specific anti-structure and cutting-edge software to make the images come alive.

THE ART CART
Under the guidance of Artsco’s Youth Council of Artists, who intend to serve the community by providing Artsco with their unique and contemporary perspectives and experiences, the Art Cart will function as a third space for artists to share their work and, in turn, become inspired by and connect with other creators in their community.

Kelowna Arts & Culture Roundtable Membership
How do I participate?
To participate in the Kelowna Arts & Culture Roundtable, organizations must hold an active ARTSCO Group Membership. Visit the ARTSCO website to learn more about membership benefits, eligibility criteria, and the application process. Becoming a member is the first step to engaging with the Roundtable and contributing to the vibrant arts and culture scene in Kelowna.
Ideal participants are organizations that:
Provide arts and culture programs or events in Kelowna.
Maintain a physical presence in the Okanagan.
Commit to consistent representation at quarterly meetings.
Are dedicated to collaborative efforts to improve the overall arts and culture landscape.
Maintain an active ARTSCO Group Membership.
Support the arts while showcasing your organization’s commitment to community. ARTSCO’s Organizational Membership is designed for businesses, nonprofits, and cultural partners who want to invest in the creative landscape of the Okanagan. Your membership helps sustain youth programs, exhibitions, and public art initiatives while positioning your organization as a visible supporter of the arts.
