In Between It All
Kailee Fawcett | Urban Screen Display Outside KCT
February 9 - 20, 2026
In Between It All is an experiential moving-image work that explores the fragmentation of self in moments of quiet, unspoken struggle. Originally developed as a spatial installation using two-way mirrors, this iteration translates the work into a public, screen-based form—allowing the internal landscapes of the piece to unfold outward, across the Urban Screens.
Rather than offering a fixed narrative, In Between It All invites viewers into a state of suspension. Images fracture, soften, disappear, and return—sometimes subtly, sometimes abruptly—reflecting the nonlinear nature of emotional processing. The work resists resolution, instead lingering in uncertainty, where meaning is partial and constantly shifting.
In Between It All creates a space for things to fragment, disappear, and shift — for moments to surface when you least expect them — and for viewers to navigate not toward resolution, but through reflection.
