The Alternator Centre for Contemporary Art is pleased to announce the newest partnership in the Alternator Artist Co-op ProgramCool Arts Society.
                 Cool Arts Society is a non-profit organization that provides art opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities in the Central Okanagan. In conjunction with an upcoming professional development series, as part of the co-op Cool Arts will be running a pilot open studio program for their dedicated artists in a supported environment, allowing access five days a week to service the Cool Arts community.
The Alternator Centre for Contemporary Art and Cool Arts Society invite you to join us for the Grand Opening for this new partnership on Thursday May 23, 5:30-8:30pm. Artists will be available for more information, along with a studio tour and art sales. This event is free and open to the public.
The Alternator Centre for Contemporary Art is an artist-run centre located in Kelowna at the Rotary Centre for the Arts, 421 Cawston Avenue. The Alternator Centre for Contemporary Art is a registered non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the development of the creative community. Since 1989, the Alternator has shown the work of emerging Canadian artists, focused on innovative and non-traditional mediums engaged in social and cultural issues.
