Shelah Pansegrau

Located at the Mission Branch of the Okanagan Regional Library 4105 Gordon Dr., Kelowna

Shelah has lived in and been inspired by the beauty of the Okanagan Valley most of her life. Her growth and transition into the art of Lampworking glass beads and making jewelry from her studio in Kelowna was a blissful and successful experience. But, in 2010 corneal sensitivity to light forced her away from the torch returning to familiar mediums and learning new ones.

Shelah enjoys a country lifestyle which allows her time to work in her studio. When not farming hay with her husband or pursuing retirement activities, Shelah now works at Mandala Painting and Repousse.

Shelah is a self-representing artist and a founding member of the Okanagan Artist Group, Ars Longa. She has exhibited annually with this collective from 2002 until 2010 and again in 2012 to showcase established Okanagan artists, promote the Okanagan wine and food culture and promote and support various non-profit cultural groups.
