Moozhan Ahmadzadegan attempts to creates works that are critical, contemplative, and challenging. Currently, his practise involves themes of identity such as race, ethnicity, gender and sexuality. Moozhan aims to challenge the conventions of art. This process gives him the opportunity to experiment with different materials, surfaces, and display methods in order to contemplate the boundaries of drawing and painting.

Moozhan is an emerging artist and student at the University of British Columbia. The objective of his education is to be informed conceptually and aesthetically. In addition, he aims to create pieces that require contemplative thinking, and that provoke a response in the viewer. Moozhan hopes to continue his artistic practise by being further engaged with critical thinking, personal discovery, experimentation, and his local arts and culture community.
