The Arts Council of the Central Okanagan would like to extend our wholehearted appreciation to everyone who participated and supported the Mad Hatter: Into the Subconscious held May 3 – May 12, 2013.

The Art Council of the Central Okanagan would like to recognize the generous contributions by sponsors and supporters, the donations by all of the hardworking artists and business owners, the amazing work by our third annual Mad Hatter artists. The staff and volunteers who dedicated countless hours and most of all, the community who came out to support the artists and the Mad Hatter ensuring a successful exhibition!

The Mad Hatter is headed by a committee of youth who are interested in giving back to their community and supporting the arts. With the goal to socially engage and commit to the strengthening of the arts throughout the Central Okanagan by championing artistic excellence, accessibility, awareness and communication.

The Mad Hatter event is unique and provides an interactive experience which helps a foster an interest in and a greater understanding of the artistic process and the place it has in all of our lives.

The members of the Mad Hatter strive to engage all generations in the arts, with a goal of establishing a lasting awareness and appreciation for arts in the Central Okanagan.
Into the Subconscious opening night celebration!

WHEN: Friday May 3rd 6:30 pm

WHERE: located at: 1634 Harvey, Kelowna B.C (next to Wentworth music).

WHAT: Installation art, photography, painting, sculpture, music, food and more.. (see below for more details).
