Call for Encaustic Artists in the Okanagan
Deadline for Entry: September 12th at 4pm
CanwaxWest and the Shatford Centre / Okanagan School of the Arts now accepting
submissions For Waxing Poetic 2014 : Encaustic Art in the Okanagan. This celebration of
encaustic painting will exhibit September 25 2014 to October 23rd 2014 and will feature artists
from the South, Central and North Okanagan.
Waxing Poetic is an open show. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, the Thea
Haubrich Award of Excellence and a People’s Choice award. The CanwaxWest awards
presentation will be held October 23rd.
