Open Studios Summer 2009

Open StudioesDear Artists,

The Arts Council regrets to inform you that this year's Open Studios has been cancelled due to lack of participant interest.

This wonderful event, which was to take place August 14th to 16th, to showcase the diversity of the Central Okanagan's literary, performing, and visual arts, has received just 4 interested applicants.

We needed a minimum of 10 to 12 artists to make this year's Open Studios possible!

Past participants have experienced great exposure and sales during and after the event, and we hope that local artists and the Arts Council can work together to support each other in future endeavours!

We are truly saddened to cancel this year's Open Studios and look forward to future opportunities.
