He is also a writer, with a BA in Creative Writing (poetry, fictions & journalism) and a self-taught small engine mechanic, a sculptor and digital artist.
His focus on photography and digital arts has bee a recent development. Although he has a small collection of Pentax 35mm camera, it was only after he got a super-zoom digital camera at the end of August 2005, that he began to shoot a lot of photos.
Murray sees beauty where most people pass by without noticing anything unusual and he uses photography to show this beauty. His photos are currently available at the Wine Country Studios in Westbank. Many of his photos are also on his website: www.galleriagalleria.com
