Art in Empty Spaces

The Arts Council of the Central Okanagan runs Artscape to provide professional and emerging artists opportunity to exhibit their work in high profile locations in the Okanagan.

There are currently six venues that feature a different artist every two months.

Kelowna Main Library

West Kelowna Public Library

Kelowna Community Theatre

Cottonwoods

Kelowna Mission Library

Okanagan College

Want to exhibit your work?

Artists must be a member of Arts Council of the Central Okanagan to exhibit.

Artists can be any age.

Only two dimensional works are currently accepted.

Framed art is preferred, but not necessary.

Artwork will be shown at one of the locations for up to two months.

There will be a commission fee of 10% for art sold at the venue.

Please provide the following with your application:

six digital sample images (must not be larger than 3MB in size).

Title, medium and dimensions

Artists statement

A Curriculum Vitae or dates and history of past exhibitions.

Resume (If no prior exhibitions or no Curriculum Vitae). Download and fill out the Contract Form.
